Our transport spokesperson, Vanessa Bond, took this photo of litter left on a bench at Green Park Underground station in London right next to a sign asking people to use the litter bins provided.
Vanessa says: “It just amazed me that, there were directions to a bin – and a bin there – and yet someone felt it all right to leave the remains of their food on the bench.”
Do you see this when you are commuting?
How do you feel about people not making the effort to put their litter, especially takeaway wrappers, in bins provided?
